Friday, March 14, 2008, 6:17 AM Today, lets talk about the week after. It's the return of school. I feel excited as I could see my friends again. Some other students are not interested in returning to school as they feel that it is 'LAME' (their so called 'bored word of expressing their feelings'). The other reason is they can't bid their electronic gadgets goodbye because they've gone through thick and thin during the school holiday destroying virtual enemies together. Mood, Moody is all written on their face on the first day of school. Text books are so thick, almost unlimited pages of assessment papers suddenly gush to everybody's mind. Some stood like warriors defending themselves against the forthcoming invasion of alphabets and numbers, wihile other hide in their home counting pages and pages of homework and eagerly waiting for the arrival of weekend and holiday so that the game warrior can show its skill again. Many students know that homework are useful for their learnings, but refuse to do it, or others are even more interestingly just do homework for the sake of doing it. They took not more than five minutes and then went off to play again. I believe almost three of a quarter of the students don't do their homework. Most students from the top class are students who take their homework both seriously and carefully. In school students like going to computer lab. Cool breeze from the air condition attracts alot of students both sweaty or non-sweaty. One sneaky trick that mischevious students like to do, is logging on to their favourite URL when the teacher returns to her seat. And when the teacher walks pass them, they will press the key called 'F11' and the teacher will not be able to see the link that the student has visited. Thats really like an assassin. The tactic needs both good speed of the brain and perfect timing. My school's deciplined masters are very frank and there MUST be no long hair, un-neat attires, long fingernails and dirty shoes. Many naughty students have been caught with long hair and those with unbearable length will have a free shave by the master in his office. Its not just a normal shave, its a shave that makes the person lose his or her face and looks terribly awful. In my class, our group is task with a Social Studies Project of which we can choose from seven topics. My group chosed the topic called 'My Home, My Singapore'. There are five of us in the group. Let me introudce you to my friends and myself. They are Syafiq, Jia Liang, Jonathan, Kok Heng and me, Randey. My role is the leader. A leader's task is not an easy one. The leader must chear and lead the group well. There are also jobs of a Time Keeper, Presenters 1 and 2 and the Recorder / Artist. Our job or should i say our collage was completed during this week. We had one member who was unable to come to join us. We really missed his assistance and through some hard work by the rest of the team we can make it through.
